Bidding the Smokies Adieu 19 May 2022

Rain, Rain and then more Rain. Being Desert Rats for the past forty-five plus years has not prepared us for the onslaught of water and trees. Had two weeks of almost daily rains. Can’t see anything but trees…boy do they muck up the vistas.

Of course all of this rain does make for some gorgeous water falls!

Visited my brother and sister-in-law in Maryville, Tennessee. Also met a friend of a friend who has been following our travails. Kim made a three-hour round trip drive so that we could meet for the first time. Such a lovely afternoon. Thank You Kim.

Peace…Wanderers in Wonder.

  1. Our mountains are different, for sure–but every bit as beautiful & full of magic. The liquid sunshine is an added bonus. Thanks for coming. Safe journey!
