The Rogue River gets its start at a small spring in the Cascade Mountains just west of Crater Lake. The Rogue flows 215 miles to the Pacific Ocean. French trappers named the river La Riviere aux Coquins, The River of the Rogues. They did not think very highly of the local Natives.

The ‘Living Stump’. Before this tree was cut down by loggers its roots had grafted themselves into the roots of its neighbor. The stump lives on.

The Rogue river disappears into a lava tube.

For 100 feet the Rogue is no longer above ground. One hundred feet downriver the Rogue reappears.

Eventually it becomes a powerful water course.
Peace…Wanderers in Wonder.
